The Lovelock Cave Docent Program Coordinator, AmeriCorps State Member- in coordination with the BLM Archeologists will develop a volunteer docent program for the Lovelock Cave Scenic Backcountry Byway by June 2008.

The Community Outreach Specialist, AmeriCorps State Member will promote, market, present and evaluate Red Cross Community Education programs to children, teens, adults, and seniors at school, businesses, or community organizations to enhance their knowledge of health, safety, and emergency preparedness facts. The Outreach Specialist will work in-depth in recruiting and coordinating for the large Red Cross Youth Groups in Winnemucca and surrounding rural areas in northern Nevada. As a result the Specialist must have a passion for teaching, youth, and the mission of the Red Cross.

Friends of Black Rock/High Rock

The Program Coordinator of Friends of the Black Rock/High Rock, AmeriCorps State Member will provide core administrative management for the
Friends of Black Rock High Rock Board of Directors. Program Director
will prepare agendas, attend meetings, keep records, secure grants,
promote membership and philanthropy, recruit and train volunteers,
supervise staff, prepare budgets, manage finances, prepare reports,
develop programs and management plans, communicate with media, produce
and attend events, and facilitate board activities, development, and
capacity building.

The Friends of Black Rock High Rock Information Technology Director, AmeriCorps State Member will provide information technology services to the
Friends of Black Rock High Rock (FBRHR). The IT Director will maintain
FBRHR computers and network, maintain databases, develop user and
management interfaces, automate data entry/export functions, assist
partners with IT development issues, and develop media for electronic
and print publications, attend meetings, provide interpretive analyses
of data, work with Communications Director to maintain website content
and develop website store, provide Program Director with administrative
assistance and assist with projects as necessary.
