Benefits: As a full-time AmeriCorps member, you will receive a number of benefits that include:

  • Living stipend of $900/month
  • Full Coverage Health Insurance for necessary medical care
  • Worker's Compensation
  • 2 weeks of vacation time, and sick-leave
  • Member development and training from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)
  • A $4,725 Educational Award at the end of your service
  • Loan Forbearance and payment for accrued interest
  • If eligible Child Care
  • On-the-job Training specific to your interest and position

As a half-time AmeriCorps member, will will recieve:

  • Living stipend of $450/month
  • Worker's Compensation
  • 2 weeks of vacation time, and sick-leave
  • Member development and training from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)
  • A $2,362 Educational Award at the end of your service
  • Loan Forbearance and payment for accrued interest
  • On-the-job Training specific to your interest and position
