Nevada Outdoor School's Outdoor Ethics Program

If you enjoy panoramic views, vast openness of playa, winding your way through deep canyons, rugged mountain peaks, racing up sand dunes, or simply breathing in fresh air; outdoor ethics are essential to you. Through Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly! NOS will cultivate a culture of outdoor ethics and responsible stewardship in Northern Nevada.

Leave No Trace
Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of outdoors by all people, worldwide. Participants of all ages can learn about ethical land use while enjoying the outdoors during fun and informative workshops, hiking, backpacking, snow shoeing, camp-outs, volunteer events, and more. Through responsible recreation we will be able to conserve sensitive resources and ensure that others will be able to enjoy public lands in the future.
