Nature at Noon
Grades pre-K - 2nd

Nature at Noon provides age-appropriate games, nature activities, and crafts for preschool through second-grade children. Join us at Vesco Park each Tuesday and Thursday to explore different topics in nature aimed at strengthening their awareness of the world around them. Nature at Noon will begin June 14th; each session lasts about 1 hour.


Adventure Camp I

Grades 3rd-5th

Adventure Camp I is a week long day camp for youth entering 3rd – 5th grade.  Campers will participate in hands-on activities and games that are entertaining, engaging and foster exploration of the outdoors and natural sciences. There is also the opportunity for campers to finish the week with a camp out in Water Canyon! 


Adventure Camp II

Grades 6-8th

Adventure Camp II is a week long camp for youth entering 6th – 8th grade.  Camp activities will introduce students to local outdoor recreation opportunities, team building skills and foster confidence in the outdoors.  This experience will culminate in a two night camp out in the Santa Rosa Mountains where students will be able to apply their new knowledge of outdoor skills.


ATV Rider Camp
Ages 7 - 12
Start your engines for ATV Rider Camp! Three days of hands-on activities for ages 7-12 to explore Tread Lightly!, learn safe riding habits and earn your ATV safety certificate.
Summer
Summer Excursions
6th-7th graders

Summer Excursions Incoming 6th and 7th graders will join NOS in the Sierras and/or Ruby Mountains for a 3-day, 2-night excursion. Campers will hike, swim, kayak, expolore, learn, camp and have a blast!


Boys' Adventure Camp

Grades 5-7th

Boys' Adventure Camp offers boys entering 5th, 6th and 7th grade the opportunity to spend a few days having fun, building friendships and learning from positive role models before heading back to school. Some of the activities boys will enjoy might include hiking, tag games, whittling, fishing or leather craft.


Girls' Camp

Grades 5-7th

Girls' Camp is a week long day camp for girls entering 5th, 6th and 7th grade.  Girls will spend the week exploring the outdoors, playing games, making crafts and building friendships in an all-girl environment.  By the end of the week, girls will have a strengthened sense of self-esteem, feel more comfortable and confident in the outdoors, and have built strong, positive relationships with other campers.
