Tread Lightly! Website

Tread Lightly! is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting recreation access and opportunities in the outdoors through education and stewardship. Tread Lightly!’s educational message, along with its training and restoration initiatives are designed to instill an ethic of responsibility in a wide variety of outdoor enthusiasts; including users of motorized and mechanized vehicles, and the industries that serve them. Tread Lightly! offers a variety of unique training programs for all ages, in all seasons, for a wide range of recreational uses, including atv and ohv use, hunting, biking and horseback riding and more.
Tread Lightly! programs provide the knowledge and skills needed  to empower recreationists to make wise and responsible decisions while enjoying the outdoors.  It is through responsible recreation that we will be able to conserve and preserve sensitive resources and ensure that others will be able to continue to enjoy public lands in the future.  If you are interested in learning how to minimize your impact on the environment, want to become involved in the community and enjoy the outdoors then attend one of Nevada Outdoor School’s training events over the next year!
