NOS Nomads Nature Club promotes individual health and happiness by encouraging all types of hiking and walking!

It provides members information on new places to hike, walk, practice safe hiking and walking skills.  

Come meet new people, explore new places and learn new things with us!

We will meet 1-2 times a month (in Elko and Winnemucca)

All ages welcome! One adult per 2 children under the age of 10.

Please come ready to walk/hike outside: bring a water bottle, sturdy shoes, hat, etc.

Looking for some trail ideas and ways to stay safe and responsible? Great!

Join Nevda Outdoor School and Friends of the Rubies at our Beginners Friendly Hike.

This event wil ltake place on Friday, September 8th at 8:00am.

Meet at the Powerhouse Picnic Grounds in Lamoille Canyon.

Make sure to bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes.

The trail is beginner friendly.

After, join us for a fire and s'mores!
