July's Topic: Fishing!

 

Come Learn how to Fish with NOS!

Why Fishing for Beginners? Because fishing is a great way to increase your Time Spent Outdoors!

 

What will I learn? Participants will learn fishing basics including equipment, fish identification, NDOW rules and regulations. Plus, learn about how to leave no trace while fishing!

 

 

Get outside at Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge and learn a new way to enjoy the outdoors!

Fishing is a wonderful way to get outdoors, especially in the warm weather. Never fished before?

No worries!

Come learn with Nevada Outdoor School!

Learn about the principals of Leave No Trace! while also learning about fishing equipment, species identification, NDOW rules and regulations, and fisheries management.

Space is limited.

Transportation to Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge provided from Elko & Spring Creek.

No fishing license needed.

Bring your own fishing pole if you have one or borrow some of ours.

We have limited enrollment and limited fishing poles available for use, please call ahead to reserve a pole and your spot now (775-777-0814)!

Don't forget to bring your own lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and a good hat!
