It is a beautiful educational facility, and a partnership that opens a lot of possibilities for NOS programs!
We are excited to have Macy Rohr, as a NOS employee, in place as Programs Coordinator for the Trail Center providing field trips and Traveling Trunk classroom visits to Elko County School District students and enhanced visitor interpretive experiences to the general public!
🌌 Celebrate National S’mores Day & the Perseids Meteor Shower with Nevada Outdoor School and the California Trail Interpretive Center! 🍫
Join us for a sweet and starry evening under the night sky. We’ll be making gooey s’mores, watching for shooting stars ✨, and enjoying the magic of the Perseids meteor shower in a fun, family-friendly setting.
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on, a water bottle, and a light jacket for when the temperatures dip. Whether you're coming for the treats or the stars, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Nevada Outdoor School inspires exploration of the natural world, responsible stewardship of our habitat and dedication to community.
